County’s development only with progress in science and technology: former PM Khanal

June 5, Kathmandu : Former Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal on Sunday evening said the country’s development was possible only with the development of science and technology.
The former PM made the comment at a programme held by California State University and Kathmandu Institute of Applied Sciences to bid farewell to American students who had held a research on environmental changes taking place in the Himalayan region. He also called for implementing the constitution for country’s economic development.
On the occasion, eight students each from the US and Nepal were honored for their research on environmental changes in the Himalayan region.
