June 3,  Kathmandu : German Ambassador to Nepal, Matthias Meyer, paid farewell call on Speaker Onsari Gharti at Legislature-Parliament Building at New Baneshwor on Friday.

During the meeting, they discussed mutual relations and interest between Nepal and Germany. Saying the constitution was moving ahead towards its implementation after first-round of local level election, Speaker Gharti lauded the support provided by the government of Germany, said Speaker Gharti’s press advisor, Babin Sharma.

On the occasion, Ambassador Meyer said that his country has highly praised the political and economic progress made by Nepal in recent period.

He also expressed belief the relation between the two countries would be further strengthened and would spread in people’s level in days ahead.
