June 5,  Kathmandu : Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has expressed his best wishes on the occasion of the World Environment Day today.

In a message sent on the occasion of the World Environment Day on Monday, the PM has made special appeal to all Nepalis to ensure a safer future of the earth by preserving nature and environment.

The PM has also extended best wishes for clean, healthy and balanced nature and environment.
This year’s World Environment Day is being marked with the theme of ‘Connecting People to Nature’.

PM Prachanda has also said that it was a shared responsibility of all to maintain bearing capacity of the earth and nature by protecting the natural resources.
Nepal government adopted the environment-friendly policy with the utilization and promotion

of technology for the balanced, sustainable, and socioeconomic development, the PM said.
Similarly, he said the climate change effects have badly impacted the natural phenomena.
According to him, the time has come for all to be united for the conservation of natural environment for a clean and healthy life.

PM Dahal appealed to all to be committed to achieve the goals set on the sustainable development and environment conservation. RSS
